Found in the cool waters of the canadian subarctic waters, Canadian Halibut is a large flat fish which has a white flesh, firm texture, and fine fish oils. It has a sweet and subtle taste and a golden hue with an irresistible crunch after freeze-drying. Its flesh is made up of 80% water and 20% protein, which makes it a very popular option for fish lovers.

The fish is known for its high nutritional content. It is high in protein, selenium, niacin, phosphorous, magnesium, vitamins B12 and B6, potassium and omega 3 fatty acids. It is also low in fat and carbohydrates.
